Job Description:
Now hiring NCCCO Certified Crane Operators for multiple bridge construction projects in the Washington, MS area. This is a temp-to-perm position with long-term potential for the right candidate.
Job Duties:
• Operate a 110-ton Kobelco 1100 hydraulic crawler crane for:
○ Driving concrete and steel pile
○ Hoisting, clamshelling, setting girders
○ Swinging concrete and rebar
○ Using diesel and vibratory hammers
• Set up and position swinging and fixed leads
• Assist with crane assembly/disassembly with the ground crew
• Level pads and move materials using dozers and trackhoes
• Operate additional equipment including:
○ Link-Belt 100-ton crane
○ Terex 80-ton crane
○ Various dozers and excavators
• Understand rigging and hand signaling
• Safely plan and execute lifts
• Conduct crane inspections and maintain operation records
Requirements:
• Valid NCCCO Certification
• Experience with hydraulic crawler cranes and heavy civil/bridge construction
• Strong understanding of rigging and crane safety procedures
• Must be able to operate other heavy equipment (dozers, excavators, etc.)
• Basic tools of the trade required
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
Compensation:
• Pay Rate: Up to $40/hr (based on experience)
• Per Diem: $140/day (for qualified travelers)
• Hours: 50 hours/week
• Duration: Temp-to-Perm
