Join an expert staff of registered professional engineers, architects, surveyors, geodesists, cartographers, and data programmers skilled in many aspects of engineering, surveying, aerial photography, mapping & GIS. GRW Aerial Surveys, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Survey Crew Chief in Kentucky.
The Survey Crew Chief will be responsible for determining precise location and measurements of points, elevations, lines, areas, and contours for construction, map making, land division, titles, or other purposes.
Experience, skills, and qualifications should include:
- Preferred Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) or Land Surveyor in Training (LSIT) with the qualifications to obtain PLS registration in Kentucky and/or surrounding state.
- Boundary, topographic and route location surveying experience
- Knowledge of GPS and terrestrial scanning technologies, methods, and software
- Trimble GPS, TBC, Trimble Access, Leica ScanStations, Cyclone, AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation experience a plus
- Ability to work outside independently or with a field crew
- Valid driver's license and travel required
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and random drug screenings
