Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacist to join our team at GRX Holdings, LLC. As a critical member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and services, ensuring compliance with professional standards and applicable laws.
Key Responsibilities:
• Interpret written prescriptions, check for drug interactions and allergies, and enter prescription and patient data into our computer system.
• Supervise Pharmacy Technicians, checking all work for accuracy and completeness.
• Counsel patients over the phone and in person, conveying important information about medication usage and answering their questions.
• Conduct research as necessary to ensure that all services are in the best interests of the patient and conform to established professional standards and applicable state laws.
• Review inventory daily, placing orders for medications as needed and maintaining adequate supplies without overstocking.
• Ensure proper billing occurs when the pharmacist on duty, in compliance with insurance plans, CMS, and/or board of pharmacy regulations.
Requirements:
• Minimum Bachelor's level degree in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited Pharmacy College.
• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy license in the state.
• One to two years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
