About us: Gryphon Advisors is a financial and strategic planning firm that provides independent, comprehensive financial counseling and investment advice to families and individuals. We are seeking to add an Office Assistant to our dedicated team.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting the team with a variety of standard in-office tasks including managing documents (scanning / copying / labeling), organizing files, etc.
- Supporting the portfolio administrator, office manager, and asset management team on a variety of activities requiring a high level of discretion (e.g. dealing with confidential and/or proprietary client and employee information).
- Sorting, filing, and archiving various administrative and tax documents.
- Assisting with file preparation.
- Greeting and assisting onsite guests and answer inbound telephone calls with professionalism.
Qualifications:
- Prior administrative assistance and client service experience in financial services (e.g. banking, mortgage administration, accounting, investment management, insurance, etc.) is strongly preferred.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to work onsite.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Associate’s degree or higher required.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds and be willing to have a background/credit check in accordance with industry regulatory requirements.
