Electrical Wire Harness Assembler

This position builds electrical components to include wire harnesses, control boxes and control panels according to specifications. Must have the ability to read and comprehend work orders, process sheets and blue prints; produces high quality projects on-time and on-budget to our customers. May be required to serve as backup for other positions as directed.Reviews assembly drawings, diagrams, process sheets, schematics and test requirements and discusses any issues with project engineerVerify bill of material and parts pulled for accuracy and qualityVerify dimension for accuracy and qualityDocumentation of test performance resultsProcess wireTerminate wire ends / splice circuitsAssemble harnesses, controls boxes and control panelsTest functionality and continuity of electrical assembliesApply harness covering by machineKnowledge of machines and tools, including their uses and maintenanceGood hand-eye coordinationExcellent attention to detailVersatile with various toolsWatches gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.Troubleshooting - Assists in assessing and determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it.Enforces use of safety equipmentIs knowledgeable about safety in work areaEducation and ExperienceThe education requirements and experience requirements listed here indicate the minimum basic educational knowledge and minimum previous work-related experience required by the job duties of the position : High School diploma; experience in electrical assembly in manufacturing desired.Salary Description Sign-on & retention bonuses available!
