The Production Supervisor will be responsible for leading a team of employees in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will have a strong background in aerospace manufacturing, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safety:
- Promote a culture of safety and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Identify potential risks and implement proactive measures to mitigate them.
- Quality:
- Enforce strict adherence to quality control measures and industry regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
- Daily Output:
- Achieve daily output targets for multiple team leads and piece count.
- Develop and implement recovery plans when targets are not met.
- Schedule Adherence:
- Ensure completion dates are met.
- Operator Maintenance:
- Ensure completion of operator-level maintenance tasks.
- GS Precision SOPs:
- Be proficient in all GS Precision Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Scans and Vouchering:
- Maintain discipline in scanning and vouchering (scans & time cards).
- People Reviews:
- Ensure all people reviews are completed on-time with feedback, career development, and performance improvement when necessary.
- Corrective Measures:
- Accountable for taking corrective measures in a timely manner. Know when to escalate concerns.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Minimum of 2 Continuous Improvements events per supervisor per quarter.
