What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Time Manufactured Housing Property Manager (Poulsbo, WA) position at GSC Investments?
We are looking for a full time manager (40 hours/week) who will be responsible for being the onsite property manager for Poulsbo located in Poulsbo, Washington. The ideal candidate(s) will have great communication (Spanish speaker is a must), resident relations, tech savvy and is passionate about providing a professional, positive, and engaging experience for the prospective and active members of the community. This role will include rent collections, distributing rules and regulations/notices, managing evictions, answering questions about the community, top notch resident relations and weekly staff/meeting calls.
Day to day duties include:
- Manage rent collection and tenant files through our accounting software, Rent Manager.
- Reviews resident files and accounting records to determine unpaid and/or late fees owed, communicates with residents regarding outstanding balances, implements procedures for collecting on delinquencies, and enforces the lease.
- Attend court hearings for tenant evictions if required
- Conduct a weekly inspection on the community common areas and lots to ensure all community rules and regulations are enforced.
- Manage the cleanliness and curb appeal of the community.
- Daily walks through the community
- Communicate with tenants to correct any minor violations. For major violations, report to the regional manager for further action.
- Be the first line of defense on any emergency or suspicious activities inside the community. Report urgent incidents promptly to the regional office.
- Promotes resident satisfaction and retention by responding to complaints, questions, and requests in a timely manner, and taking appropriate action to resolve and address issues. Ensures property’s maintenance team members comply with the Company’s standards with respect to responding and completing requests.
The salary is INCLUSIVE of Onsite Housing. There is a manufactured home in the community that is available for the onsite manager. A $795/month credit will be given for the housing.
We are open to hiring a household team to undertake the admin and maintenance aspects of the community.
Qualifications
- Proven customer service and property management skills
- Strong knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant law
- Experience with property leasing and maintenance
- Familiarity with accounting software and property management systems such as Yardi or OneSite
- Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish is a plus
- Excellent negotiation, conflict management, and administrative skills
