Position Function
Social Media Content Creators are responsible for bringing a brand's social media program to life in-platform, with supervision. The SMM / CC works across many fundamentals of social media to support the social team including creating social-first content and publishing across social channels. To succeed in this role, you must have a passion for social media and the ability to leverage your deep understanding of the landscape into impactful social content.
You must be a team player, clear communicator, with a high attention to detail and always on the lookout for improved and innovative creative solutions. The SMM / CC will be part of the broader social media team within the Strategy Studio department.
Responsibilities and Essential Duties
Supports social teams in implementation of client's social strategy :
Ability to write social copy and create creative assets. Editing test will be requested.Content creation skills are mandatory (e.g. light video editing, GIF creation, etc.)Assist in development and implementation of monthly content calendarSchedule / post content to social channelsMaintain social brand guidelines and social voiceDemonstrated understanding and experience developing fundamentals of social media strategies including audience, channel, content, brand guidelines and voiceProvide thought-leadership, strategic guidance, proactive key learnings and industry best practices for social creationDevelop POVs on a range of social topics as neededMonitor trends in social media channels to inform social content strategy and creationLeverage social media tools (when applicable) to inform / inspire optimal social content and engagement strategiesLook for opportunities to proactively engage with relevant industry influencers, events and trending topics on social mediaLeverage brand social performance data / reporting to drive continuous optimizationMinimum Qualifications
2-3 years of experience creating content for social (can be a mix of full time roles and internships)Fluent across a variety of social channels as an active and passionate participantProficient in creative programs like premiere or illustratorProficient writing and communication skillsProficient in Powerpoint, Excel (Keynote a plus)Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills are a mustPreferred Qualifications
Experience with SPRINKLR / Khoros / similar social management suite a plusTechnical understanding and ability to pick up new tools quicklyOperates according to deadlines while executing multiple projectsAbility to change priorities and pivot to emerging urgent tasksProactive in managing expectations of supervisorsRoutinely takes initiative to improve process / workflow / methodologiesKey Characteristics for Success
