We are looking for a Territory Manager (Colorado and Utah) to build long-term, trusting relationships with our customers. The Territory Manager will manage a portfolio of assigned clients, generate new business from existing accounts, and actively seek out new sales opportunities within their designated territory. Responsibilities include cultivating strong customer relationships, engaging with key business leaders and stakeholders, and identifying new growth opportunities. You will work with cross-functional internal teams (such as Customer Service, Planning, and Production) to enhance the overall customer experience. This role requires travel within the assigned territories. Ideal candidates will be adept at meeting ambitious individual and team sales targets.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for all account management activities within your territory.
- Establish and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships across all organizational levels.
- Assess the competitive landscape, including market pricing and service levels, to create effective go-to-market strategies.
- Serve as the single point of contact for customer interactions, product delivery, customer maintenance, and understanding current market conditions.
- Communicate the progress of monthly and quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop new business with existing clients and identify areas for improvement to meet sales targets.
- Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g., quarterly sales results and annual forecasts).
- Prepare reports on account status.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and expand opportunities within the territory.
- Provide timely quotes for new orders within a 2448 hour timeframe.
- Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.
