GSE Programs & Performance is looking for an Engineer to join our BOP team. In this role, you will provide technical expertise in support of commercial nuclear power station programmatic areas for clients. It will be the responsibility of the individual to perform assigned workload in a designated specialty area by the division manager while maintaining high standards of quality in the deliverable products. Additionally, the individual will be encouraged to build and maintain client relationships and work in a business development role continuously identifying, maintaining and growing business.


Pay Range- $70,000 to $75,000 annually, DOE.

Essential Functions:


  • Work directly with clients and subcontractors on various tasks in support of projects.
  • Read, interpret and apply regulatory codes and standards in different scenarios to ensure compliance with regulatory, industry, client and company best practices.
  • Use knowledge of plant systems, procedures, processes, and regulations to inform decisions on application of standards.
  • Learn multiple systems and plant designs in support of different clients.
  • Mark up P&IDs, procedures, program plans and any supporting documentation.
  • Continuously monitor and understand updates to various guiding documents to apply to projects as approved by the governing regulatory body.

Education & Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or STEM related field and
  • 0-2 years experience in regulatory programs applications and
  • 0-2 years of experience and working knowledge in Electrical Power Research Institute (EPRI) and regulatory standards for Flow Accelerated Corrosion, Underground Piping and ancillary industry requirements.

  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

Working Conditions:


  • General office environment.
  • Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time.
  • The working environment is generally favorable.
  • Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.
  • Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.
