A Day In The Life

The Customer Service Specialist II under the leadership of the Manager, Contact Center will support the process to increase the profitability of the company's finance and insurance (F&I) products and services provided to automobile dealers. The Specialist will 1) provide superior customer service to dealers, consumers, lienholders, and other customers, 2) assist with processing of cancellations during interactive discussions with customers, 3) actively participate in contact center activities that support communications, and 4) assist with other functions of the department as needed. The Customer Service Specialist II will take action to enhance cross-functional abilities and expand internal communications within the company.

As a Customer Service Spcst II you will :

  • Provide superior customer service in phone conversations, written correspondences, follow-up activities, and coordination of job responsibilities.
  • Assist processing of cancellation requests from dealers, customers and lienholders through interactive discussions.
  • Support underwriting of applications for company products
  • Support communications that assist administration of company products.
  • Participate in contact center activities that provide a high level of service to customers, vendors and other entities involved with the company and it’s products.
  • Provide support for administration processes and communications.
  • Maintain accurate records of communications in the transactions system.
  • Assist dealers to reconcile their records for new business, rates, online support and claims.
  • Support account setup activities and live dealer communications.
  • Fully coordinate and communicate actions within GSA and with dealers.
  • Back up receptionist.

What We Need From You

  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) Req
  • 1-3 years related experience and / or training or equivalent combination of education and experience Required
  • Ability to apply common sense.
  • Requires excellent communication skills
  • Is customer and dealer focused.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Is able to handle customers under difficult situations.
  • Ability to work independently and as an active member of a team.
  • Problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent follow-through skills required to complete all customer / consumer inquiries.
  • Is able to support change.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the company’s products and their coverage and benefits.
  • DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State Required
  • Is legally able to work in the United States Required
  • Physical and Environmental Requirements The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of the job, the associate is required on a daily basis to analyze and interpret data, communicate, and remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the work day and frequently access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. The associate is regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. The associate must frequently move up to 10 pounds and occasionally move up to 25 pounds.

    Travel Requirements

    10% Travel may be required on rare occasions.
