We are seeking a dedicated and highly organised Conference Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in planning and executing successful conferences and events.
Key Responsibilities :
- Coordinate all aspects of conference planning, including venue selection, logistics, and on-site management.
- Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and vendor relationships to ensure all events run smoothly and efficiently.
- Collaborate with internal teams to define conference goals, themes, and agendas.
- Coordinate speaker arrangements, including scheduling, travel, and accommodations.
- Assist with marketing and promotional activities to ensure maximum attendance and engagement.
- Oversee registration processes and communicate with attendees regarding event information.
- Prepare and distribute conference materials, including programs, badges, and promotional items.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and analyse event success for future improvements.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to enhance the overall attendee experience.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Conference Coordinator or similar role (2 years preferred).
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in event management software and tools and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by the event schedule.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to handle unexpected challenges with grace.
