This position oversees and directs environmental professionals responsible for drilling, sample/data collection, subcontractor tasks, evaluates data, and compiles written reports for submittal to clients and regulatory agencies.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities

- Manage environmental projects, including site characterization, due diligence, property transactional services, remedial designs and implementation, and preparation of reports and other related documentation
- Develop and network with new and existing clients to effectively position for and develop work opportunities
- Prepare contract proposals and cost estimates.
- Manage project contracts, staff, budgets, and schedules
- Perform, analyze and report on specific environmental project tasks under general supervision and research and recommend solutions to technical problems in accordance with accepted scientific/engineering practices and principles
- Play an active role in the mentorship and development of junior staff on environmental projects
- B.S. or M.S. Engineering, Scientific Discipline, or related technical field
- 10 years of environmental consulting experience, with a strong focus on soil and groundwater assessments.
- Familiarity and understanding of regulations and implementation of programs under the Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM).
- Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated abilities in leadership, management, and administration
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to develop business from new and existing clients
