UES is looking for a Geotechnical Lab Technician to assist with the geotechnical engineering and testing department with samples tracking of materials used in exciting projects around the Fort Worth area. As a GEO lab technician, you will provide a vital step in the overall building process, ensuring materials used during construction meet all necessary quality benchmarks. If you have a desire to play a key role in the GEO process and grow your career, we want to hear from you!
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
The UES Texas Region includes 4 powerhouse legacy firms from the geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing, and environmental consulting arenas: Alpha Testing, Rock Engineering & Testing, Riner Engineering, and InControl Technologies.

- Unconfined tests
- Minus 200 tests
- pH tests
- Swell tests
- Hand penetrometer
- Soil identification and classification
