UES is seeking a Geotechnical Lab Technician to support our Geotechnical Engineering and Testing Department . This role will focus on lab data entry, Atterberg limit testing, and minus #200 sieve washes , along with other essential geotechnical lab procedures. No prior experience is required—training will be provided.
As a Geotechnical Lab Technician , you will play a key role in the construction process by ensuring materials meet quality standards, contributing to the success of various infrastructure projects. If you have strong attention to detail and an interest in geotechnical testing, we encourage you to apply!

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform lab data entry and documentation
- Conduct moisture content tests
- Perform Atterberg limit tests
- Execute unconfined compression tests
- Conduct minus #200 sieve tests
- Perform pH tests
- Conduct swell tests
- Utilize a hand penetrometer for soil strength assessment
- Identify and classify soil samples
