The Laboratory Technician will perform routine laboratory testing at the request of the Laboratory Supervisor/Manager. The possibility of data reduction and reporting exists for those with computer skills and the aptitude for data reduction.

Job Responsibilities
- Performs soil, aggregate, asphalt, and concrete testing
- Maintains laboratory equipment and laboratory space in neat order
- Assists in logging, storage, and disposal of samples
- Performs other duties as requested
- High school degree
- Good oral and written communication skills, including good technical writing capabilities
- Ability to effectively use computers
- Ability to use initiative and work independently within the limitations of experience
- Knowledge of various exploratory and laboratory techniques
- Required to stand for long periods of time
