UES is seeking a Senior Environmental Project Manager to support our growing DFW office. As a Senior Project Manager you will manage project execution according to contracted scope, manage client relationships, and mentor junior staff for a variety of environmental projects such as Due Diligence, Site Investigation, Remediation, UST, and/or Permitting/Compliance.
The Senior Environmental Project Manager will be responsible for overall project management of Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, which may include various types of properties such as undeveloped land, agricultural, residential, multi-family, retail, and commercial/industrial. Responsible for completion and overall success of the project, including resource allocation, project scheduling, budgeting, and forecasting. Lead project meetings, generate reports, and update both the project team and client on progress. Set priorities, assign tasks, and coordinate staff to achieve project goals and milestones. May also serve as the primary client contact, ensuring deliverables meet expectations.

Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage environmental projects, including permitting, compliance, and remediation tasks
- Develop and maintain proposals, cost estimates, schedules, change orders, and budgets while identifying and resolving challenges to ensure successful project outcomes
- Ensure project alignment with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., CERCLA, RCRA, ASTM standards)
- Perform Phase I and II ESA technical writing and fieldwork
- Conduct soil, groundwater, and vapor sampling using established safety protocols
- Prepare detailed reports, including sampling plans and remediation strategies
- Conduct site investigations, collect and evaluate data, and prepare comprehensive reports
- Analyze reports, maps, blueprints, and test results to inform project execution
- Ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations
- Communicate with regulatory authorities and address project-specific requirements
- Serve as the primary contact for clients, providing updates and addressing concerns
- Deliver project findings and recommendations in a clear and professional manner, detailed and comprehensive technical report writing skills
- Train and supervise field staff to ensure project and safety compliance
- Organize and maintain project documentation for operational efficiency
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of environmental consulting experience
- Professional Geologist; PG or Professional Engineer; PE registration/license
- Knowledge of environmental permitting, regulations, and testing methods
- Experience guiding, mentoring, and directing staff to collaboratively execute projects.
