This role is vital to the NA Quality team's efforts to ensure and improve the level of Quality and Compliance maturity, by actively engaging the organization in key compliance-related workflows. The role also encompasses managing the NA SQ Operations team, ensuring supply security, developing Supplier Quality initiatives, and collaborating with Procurement teams for regional Quality strategy

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following :

  • Quality Management Systems : Oversee implementation, maintenance and training related to Haleon Quality Systems within the NA region
  • Regulatory Intelligence : Ensure GxP regulatory intelligence is correctly interpreted, and actions are deployed within the NA region
  • Quality Reviews : Coordinate NA Quality reviews of Quality Alerts and Bulletins for effective visibility and necessary actions
  • Self-Inspection : Ensure NA Quality functions execute fit-for-purpose self-inspection, share findings, and engage in action plans
  • Continuous Improvement : Support continuous improvement of Quality work practices through monitoring and sharing industry GxP trends
  • Supplier Quality Management and Improvement : Oversee supplier life cycle management, from initiation to retirement within the NA region.
  • Risk management : Ensure that internal and external risks are formally documented and assessed
  • Strategy : Provide consolidated QA input into production procurement and North American QSC strategies
  • Regulatory inspections : Support Haleon sites and key third parties with health authority / regulating body inspections

Technical Skills

  • Critical Thinking : Higher order critical thinking, logical reasoning, and interpretation skills (application of cGMPs).
  • Project Management : Multidisciplinary project management experience.
  • Regulatory Knowledge : Working knowledge of US and Canada regulations and Haleon's quality standards.
  • FDA Regulations : Solid understanding of FDA regulation interpretation for Dietary Supplements, Drug Products, Medical Devices, and Cosmetics.
  • HQS Lifecycle : Oversee HQS lifecycle, including development, roll-out, execution, training, and capability building.
  • GMP Compliance : Lead NA BU GMP compliance activities, including management monitoring, compliance metrics, HQS implementation, Quality Regulatory Intelligence, Quality Risk Model, DEA compliance, and CAPA verification.
  • Third Party Management : Deep understanding of how to manage, collaborate and support Haleon related to third parties
  • Governance

  • Leadership : Drive process improvement and lead change initiatives.
  • Talent Development : Develop people and build a talent pipeline.
  • Strategy Execution : Translate strategy into action, motivate others, set objectives, and delegate tasks.
  • Manufacturing Tools : Embed industry tools to identify, manage, and solve problems.
  • Performance Management : Apply principles to facilitate continuous initiatives.
  • Leadership Skills

  • Financial Acumen : Expertise in budgeting, commercial, operational, and financial matters.
  • Relationship Building : Strong collaboration and stakeholder management, both internally and externally.
  • Team Collaboration : Work with NA BU teams, central teams and senior leadership to enhance quality and compliance understanding.
  • Team Resilience : Maintain energy and well-being, fostering resilience in teams.
  • Continuous Learning : Seek opportunities to learn, build skills, and share knowledge.

    Basic Qualifications :

    We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Science
  • 10 years' experience in regulated industry in a quality and / or technical related function.
  • 5 years' experience as a people leader
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • The estimated salary range for this role $160,652 - $220,897.
