Duties
- Deliver comprehensive patient care, including monitoring vital signs and assessing patient conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to infection control protocols.
- Perform IV insertion and manage intravenous therapy for patients as needed.
- Conduct specimen collection processing and ensure accurate documentation of patient information.
- Provide support in critical care situations, utilizing advanced clinical skills to stabilize patients.
- Engage in occupational health assessments and promote wellness among patients.
- Assist with esthetic laser treatment procedures when applicable.
- Offer compassionate care to senior patients, addressing their unique health needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and families on health management, disease prevention, and treatment options.
Qualifications
- Valid nursing license in the state of practice; additional licensure may be required based on travel assignments.
- Proven experience in patient care settings; background in critical care is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of infection control practices and protocols.
- Proficiency in performing vital signs assessments and managing patient documentation.
- Experience with specimen collection processing is preferred.
- Ability to perform IV insertion competently and safely.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient education.
- Flexibility to adapt to various healthcare environments and schedules as required by travel assignments.
