Job Purpose: The Audit Manager in Culture Assurance is critical in supporting the delivery of A&A’s global Assurance Strategies and serving as an agent for A&A’s strategic objectives. This role involves leading and participating in Culture Assurance audits that focus on embedding GSK's values in daily decisions and behaviours, ensuring that these values are effectively integrated across the organization to balance performance and risk management. The Audit Manager will manage data acquisition, insights and fieldwork. They will work with business stakeholders, and ensure the highest quality standards in audit execution

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy and Planning: Contribute to the strategy for Culture Assurance reviews, including a data-driven prioritisation and selection process. Approve audit scope and deliver audits that are responsive to risk, fit-for-purpose, and value-adding.
- Leadership and Oversight: Ensure compliance with A&A and Institute of Internal Auditing standards, and drive accountability within teams for audits and outputs at all key stages
- Stakeholder Management: Build and manage strong partnering relationships with GSK stakeholders. Facilitate open dialogue about sensitive topics and provide resources and insights to reduce risk and prevent repeat issues
- Execution and Quality Assurance: Provide oversight of the execution of a multi-phase programme with high visibility. Ensure appropriate and timely management and escalation of significant issues. Maintain responsibility for the quality standards of the work, its records, and the proficiency of the team
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Synthesise quantitative and qualitative data to draw meaningful conclusions. Distil data into comprehensive, high-quality written reports. Support the Audit Account Director and VP in Audit & Risk Committee (Board level) reporting by escalating relevant data and insights. Development and implementation of culture dashboards to support the delivery of Culture Assurance priorities
- Coaching and Development: Guide teams through complex business and risk environments. Inspire and develop high-performing teams and help attract key talent.
- Alternative Assurance Products: Deliver assurance products like Effectiveness checks, consulting engagements and development of metrics.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify emerging trends in assurance and internal controls by scanning the business and risk environment.
- Audit and Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of internal control framework, enterprise risks, Policy 500 (Risk Management), risk-based auditing models (e.g., IIA, COSO), and compliance frameworks.
- Leadership and Stakeholder Management: Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, including coaching and mentoring.
- Data Analytics and use of AI tools: Proficient and confident to acquire and manage data analytics tools and dashboards for business insights.
- Communication and Problem-Solving: Excellent communication skills with the ability to analyze complex business information and make recommendations.
- Organisational Awareness: High organisational awareness with the ability to solve complex problems.
- Education and Certification: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline (e.g., finance, business, life sciences, pharmacy). Proficiency in English;
