About The Role
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting the developmental, emotional, and educational needs of young children in the EYFS within a mainstream primary school. Working closely with class teachers and support staff, you will provide a stimulating and safe learning environment where children can explore, grow, and thrive.

About The Role

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging learning opportunities based on EYFS framework.
- Assist in planning, preparing, and leading structured play and learning sessions.
- Monitor and record pupils’ progress, sharing insights with the teaching team and parents.
- Support personal care needs in a respectful and nurturing manner.
- Encourage children’s independence and social development.
- Adapt support methods to suit individual pupil needs, including children with SEN.
- A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential).
- Experience working in an Early Years setting, ideally within a primary school.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and child development milestones.
- Patience, empathy, and a proactive, flexible approach to working with children.
- Understanding or experience of supporting children with SEN is desirable.
- Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
- Attractive hourly rate of £12.82.
