Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the delivery of English lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Support students’ learning through individual and small group interventions.
- Provide general classroom support, ensuring students stay focused and on-task.
- Help with the creation and preparation of learning materials and resources.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and support where needed.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
- A degree in English or a closely related subject (2:2 or above).
- A strong passion for education and the desire to become a qualified teacher.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and inspire students.
- A proactive, flexible, and enthusiastic approach to work.
- Previous experience of working with young people in any capacity (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, volunteering) is desirable but not essential.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to helping students succeed.
