Your role will involve both academic and personal care assistance, helping to create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning atmosphere.

Responsibilities
- Assisting students with personal care, mobility, and daily routines as needed.
- Providing one-on-one and group support to enhance learning and engagement.
- Supporting students with SEN, autism, physical disabilities, or communication difficulties.
- Encouraging positive social interactions and emotional well-being.
- Assisting with classroom activities and adapting resources to meet individual needs.
- Helping manage challenging behaviours in a patient and supportive manner.
- Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, and therapists to implement personalised support plans.
- Ensuring a safe, inclusive, and nurturing school environment for all students.
- Previous experience in education, SEN support, or care work (desirable but not essential).
- A compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to working with children.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to liaise with staff and parents.
- The ability to provide both academic and personal care support.
- Basic knowledge of safeguarding and health & safety (training can be provided).
- Relevant qualifications in care, SEN support, or education (desirable but not mandatory).
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from the last two years.
- Have an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one through GSL Education.
- Competitive hourly rate of £13.68 - £16.12, depending on experience.
