Job Summary:
The Inventory Control Coordinator will purchase, receive, monitor and maintain inventory levels in the Stock Room area; stock supplies; perform cycle counts and record results; and compile inventory information such as consumption rate, value and stock on hand to determine stock supply and need for replenishment. Additional responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, maintenance and repair of shop tools, assist in maintenance of facility, and accurate recordkeeping.
Essential Job Functions:
- Purchase/Order parts and supplies (may also include picking up parts/supplies, as necessary)
- Track and receive supplies physically and in the electronic system, coordinating with accounting
- Stock supplies and manage the count, coordination and maintenance of inventory in the stock room
- Record/Track parts and supplies and distribute parts/items as requested
- Maintain and update inventory records, including verification of accuracy and identification of obsolete supplies
- Identify any areas of improvement for inventory management and/or processes and report to supervisor
- Basic maintenance/repair of shop tools and small equipment at the direction of the Maintenance Foreman
- Assist in maintenance of facilities (bathroom supplies, doors, fire alarms, etc.)
- Contact and arrange outside contractors for maintenance and repairs that are outside of Inventory Control Coordinator’s expertise (this shall be done only with approval of supervisor)
- Maintain records for preventive maintenance on inventory/small equipment
- Maintain records for building repairs and costs

Requirements
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or GED
- At least 2 years’ experience in inventory control
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent math and analytical skills
- Must have good working knowledge and skills with hand and power tools
- Must have a valid driver’s license
Machines/Tools/Equipment:
- Personal protection equipment
- Computer, cell phone (company issued)
- Forklift, overhead cranes and various shop equipment
- Various hand and power tools, welder and grinder
Working Conditions:
- Primarily a controlled office environment
- Occasionally in all types of weather conditions
- May occasionally be required to work outside of regularly-scheduled work hours in the event of an equipment breakdown or emergency.
- Must be available by company cell phone at all times for emergency repairs that may interfere with company functionality
