The Inventory Jewelry Picker is responsible for accurately selecting, preparing, and packaging jewelry items and precious metal components according to production orders and customer specifications. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and adherence to quality and safety standards in a high-security manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and gather jewelry items, precious metal components, and related materials according to detailed production or customer orders.
- Verify item codes, quantities, and specifications against order sheets or production lists.
- Handle, count, and inspect delicate and valuable jewelry pieces while minimizing risks of damage or loss.
- Use precision tools and equipment to assist in picking and handling small parts.
- Package completed orders securely and appropriately to prevent damage during transport or further processing.
- Maintain organized inventory storage locations, ensuring stock is easily accessible and properly labeled.
- Track and report inventory discrepancies, shortages, or quality issues to supervisors.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and security measures, including strict compliance with no-metal or cellphone policies.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily picking and production quotas.
- Assist with periodic inventory cycle counts as required.
Qualifications
- Experience handling jewelry, small parts, or valuable materials in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment and documentation.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
- Proficiency in basic math and inventory tracking.
- Familiarity with manufacturing software systems or ERP platforms is advantageous.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
- Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination to handle small components.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
