This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong sense of design, and experience with product photography, ideally within the outdoor industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and layout of marketing materials including brochures, packaging, product catalogs, web graphics, and advertisements.
- Create engaging product photography for use in marketing materials, websites, and social media.
- Edit and retouch images to ensure a consistent and high-quality presentation.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative concepts and visual assets for campaigns.
- Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines and are optimized for both print and digital platforms.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate new ideas and refine visual communication strategies.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in both graphic design and product photography.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Strong knowledge of product photography and photo editing.
- Strong understanding of design principles including typography, color theory, and layout.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
- Passion for the outdoor industry (preferred).
- Prior experience in product photography, especially in the outdoor, hunting, or fishing industry.
- Familiarity with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, After Effects).
- Knowledge of social media design trends and content creation for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
