We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer to support and drive the development of our multi-channel eCommerce applications and supporting tools. In this role, you will be responsible for designing scalable software solutions, leading development efforts, and ensuring high-quality delivery. You will collaborate across multiple business, technical, and operational teams to understand software change drivers and their development impact. Your strong interpersonal and leadership skills will be crucial in fostering effective relationships and guiding teams toward success.
Key Responsibilities:
Architect and Develop: Design and develop web applications and APIs using C#, .NET Core, and modern development tools.
Leadership & Mentorship: Lead and mentor a team of developers, conducting code reviews and ensuring best practices.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with business, technical, and operational teams to define software requirements and propose solutions.
Process Improvement: Develop and manage software releases, optimize development processes, and enhance system performance.
Production Support: Prioritize, communicate, and address production issues efficiently through patches or future releases.
Proof of Concept Development: Lead POC initiatives to validate technical solutions and mitigate risks.
Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with emerging technologies and implement them to improve existing systems.
Qualifications & Skills:
5 years of experience in software development, preferably in eCommerce, IT, or Computer Engineering.
Strong expertise in ASP .NET Core (5 ), C#, Entity Framework Core, LINQ, AngularJS, Microsoft SQL Server, and Redis.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, ReactJS is a plus.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native architecture.
Solid understanding of Service/API technologies and protocols (SOAP, REST, HTTP).
Familiarity with secure coding best practices.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Git.
Strong background in Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
Excellent communication, presentation, and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
