Assembler

Position: Assembler

GST Manufacturing is seeking Assemblers. Qualified candidates will be mechanically inclined with relevant assembly experience, including reading simple blueprints/instructions and working with power tools and hand tools.

Responsibilities

1. Work with production and assembly teams in the shop for mechanical assembly and make ready of metal products such as control and switch cabinets, projection windows, skids, ladders, control cabins, sinks, food service prep equipment, kiosks, retail merchandising units, displays, and other products.

2. Ensure that all products are built with quality and accuracy, in accordance with the approved drawings.

Basic Qualifications

1. Prior experience in mechanical/sheet metal assemblies preferred

2. Ability to read blueprints and assembly drawings a plus

3. Basic knowledge of electrical assemblies and wiring a plus, but not mandatory

4. Valid driver’s license

5. Self-motivated and able to work alone or as a team

6. Able to work under pressure and put in long hours as project deadlines require

7. Work weekends and frequent overtime as required

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation is hourly and is commensurate with experience. Benefits including medical, dental and vision insurance for the employee with small employee contribution, 401K with company match, life insurance, disability insurance, paid holidays and paid time off are accrued in accordance with the vesting procedures set forth in the company handbook.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
