GST’s Assembly Department Manager is the internal “owner” of a wide variety products that represent the best of our company. The Manager understands our customer's needs and provides finished products that meets their specifications. The Assembly Department Manager makes sure products achieve standards requested by our customers based on blueprints and rigid specifications. Our Assembly Department Manager must embrace being a trainer, be a diligent student of details, have a great mechanical aptitude, and have outstanding multi-tasking capabilities. The Assembly Department Manager will schedule employees, maximize efficiencies and meet production times requirements. If you have these skills then you will be a good candidate to become the next Assembly Department Manager.
GST is a fast-paced workplace. The Assembly Department Manager is the key to getting the finished product to shipping and on a truck to the customer.
The successful candidate for the Assembly Department Manager position will have:
· A minimum of 5 years of Assembly experience,
· 3 years of experience in successfully managing 6-12 other employees,
· Technical expertise to operate and maintain assembly equipment,
· A history of problem solving which expanded production capacity and improved products quality,
· Outstanding organization skills,
· Be able to prioritize,
· History of holding others accountable,
· A proven history of meeting production schedules,
· A successful history of planning future work,
· Proven blueprint reading skills,
· Excellent ability to read and understand specifications written in English,
· Outstanding written and oral communication skills,
· A team player mentality,
· Proven record of decision making that build value for their employer.

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
