Document Control Specialist

GST Manufacturing has an immediate opening for a Document Control Specialist for our Quality Assurance Department. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities:

• Collecting, filing, and organizing QA documents
• Managing digital document filing of QA documents
• Assist in office management and organization procedures
• Create, collect, compile, and manage spreadsheets and ERP system QA data
• Prepare certificates of compliance and material test certificates for shipments to customers
• Gather, log, and publish weekly information on Frist Article Inspections (FAI)
• Monitor, assemble, log and publish weekly information on Quality Notices from Customers (QN)
• Interface with customer data portals

Requirements

• Conduct all business and communications professionally
• Very detail oriented and able to work with minimal supervision
• Must have excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Etc.)
• Work well under deadline pressure and able to work some overtime/weekends as need
• Must be flexible adaptable to new concepts
• Must work well in a team environment
• ERP experience a plus
• Knowledge of QA documents such as Material Test Reports (MTRs)a plus

Compensation and Benefits

This is full time hourly position with compensation based on experience. Benefits including medical, dental and vision insurance for the employee with small employee contribution, 401K with company match, life insurance, disability insurance, paid holidays and paid time off are accrued in accordance with the vesting procedures set forth in the company handbook.
