We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Manager to join our team at GST Manufacturing. In this role, you will be responsible for operating press brake machinery to shape and form metal components accurately. Responsibilities
- Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and shape metal components according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance on press brake equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances of finished products.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and production schedules.
- Troubleshoot issues with machinery or processes as they arise.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with safety standards.
- Document production data and report any discrepancies or defects.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating press brake machinery in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of CNC operations and metal fabrication processes.
- Familiarity with precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Experience with stamping presses is a plus.
- Knowledge of electrical discharge machining or plasma cutting is beneficial but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control.
