We are seeking dedicated and motivated Team Members to join our textbook distribution center team. This full-time role is crucial in ensuring that customers receive their orders accurately and on time. The ideal candidate will handle the complete order fulfillment process, from batching books to shipping.

Key Responsibilities:

Order Batching:

• Collect and organize books as they arrive.

• Verify book titles, quantities, and condition for accuracy.

• Ensure all items in an order are properly batched before processing.

Order Fulfillment:

• Pick books from distribution center shelves according to customer orders.

• Use handheld scanners and other tools to ensure order accuracy.

• Assemble orders efficiently to meet deadlines.

Packaging and Shipping:

• Pack books securely to prevent damage during transit.

• Label packages accurately with shipping and customer details.

• Ensure all orders are shipped on time.

Inventory Management:

• Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.

• Assist with restocking and organizing inventory.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Quality Control:

• Inspect books for any damage or defects before processing.

• Ensure that all packaged orders meet quality standards.

• Address and resolve any order issues or discrepancies promptly.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a Distribution Center is preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs).

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems.

• Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time position with occasional overtime required during peak seasons.

• Must be able to stand, walk, and move throughout the distribution center for extended periods.

• Work in a distribution center environment with varying temperatures.
