What are the responsibilities and job description for the Instructor, ESOL - Adjunct position at gtcc?
The Basic Skills Instructor's responsibilities include classroom and laboratory instruction and spending time in preparation for them; maintaining and improving competence in subjects being taught; preparing teaching materials; conferring with students on course materials; directing individual and group studies; maintaining course management system to track student progress and reviewing written examinations and papers. S/he shall also provide advisement to students regarding academic, curricular and career matters. To ensure quality instruction in the ESOL program s/he shall work closely with Program Coordinator(s) and comply with all community college guidelines. This individual will report to the ESOL Coordinator.
