We have an opening for Parts Counter Specialist in Davenport, IA. The successful candidate will assist internal and external customers by helping to identify needed parts, advise customers on available parts and services, while providing exceptional customer service.
Requirements:- Assist mechanics and customers with acquiring parts.
- Locate parts mechanics might need to finish job.
- Answer customer questions, provide price quotes in-person and over the phone.
- Sell parts to help achieve sales goal.
- Stock shelves on display and in warehouse.
- Pull customer orders.
- Maintain inventory, cycle count inventory, assist with core returns.
Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service.
- Self-starter, maintain positive attitude.
- Automotive or truck part related experience a plus not required.
- Multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Communicate updates to internal and external customers.
- Mechanical knowledge a must.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Education:
- Intermediate computer skills.
- High school or equivalent preferred.
- Combination of education, training, or experience providing the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Required experience:
- Sales/Customer Service 1 year
- Automotive or Truck Parts 1 year
