Job Summary: Mobile Specimen Collector

As a Mobile Specimen Collector, you will play an essential role in ensuring the collection of blood, toxicology, and pathology samples in mobile and assisted living settings. Job Responsibilities:
- Servicing key areas:
Wichita, KS
o Surrounding regions (No more than 2 hours away from Wichita)
- Collection of samples: Collect blood, toxicology, and pathology specimens from patients in a variety of settings, including mobile and assisted living environments.
- Supply management: Ensure that all necessary materials and equipment are stocked and organized for testing.
- Accurate record-keeping: Perform data entry and maintain thorough tracking records for specimens sent via FedEx.
- Effective communication: Stay in close contact with supervisors and relevant parties to provide timely updates on patient status.
- Collaborative work: Complete additional tasks as needed, working alongside a supportive and knowledgeable team.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED (required).
- Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) certification (required).
- At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience is highly preferred.
- Must have a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and complete HIPAA training upon hire.
- Must be dependable, professional, and possess the ability to follow detailed instructions.
Pay & Benefits:
- Pay: Starting at $21-$22 per hour, with competitive adjustments based on experience and location.
- Full-time position: Monday through Friday
