Job Overview:
Seeking an 2 to 3 years JD Edwards candidate skilled Manufacturing Super User with deep expertise in JD Edwards (JDE) to optimize and support manufacturing operations. This role plays a crucial part in enhancing system performance, ensuring data accuracy, and driving continuous process improvements. You’ll work closely with IT, engineering, and production teams to streamline workflows and provide actionable data insights that support informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the maintenance and continuous enhancement of the JD Edwards system to meet operational needs.
- Identify and resolve material and labor variances, implementing corrective actions where needed.
- Manage and optimize cycle count processes, addressing discrepancies with targeted solutions.
- Review system data and reports to detect errors, uncover root causes, and implement effective fixes.
- Provide training and ongoing support to users, improving system proficiency across departments.
- Advise on system configurations to ensure alignment with operational goals.
- Collaborate with engineering to set up product costing, bills of materials (BOMs), and routings.
- Manage multiple priorities and develop strategic solutions for complex challenges.
- Support the integration and management of 3PL warehousing operations.
- Maintain and ensure the smooth operation of auxiliary software systems that integrate with JD Edwards.
- Work cross-functionally to help reconcile credit orders and customer complaint reports (CCRs).
Qualifications:
- 3 years of hands-on experience with JD Edwards in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows and ERP system capabilities.
- Expertise in system troubleshooting, process optimization, and user support.
- Analytical skills to interpret data and drive practical solutions.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with shipping modules (e.g., picking tickets, freight codes).
