Position Description:
This critical role will help our client to develop, design, implement, and operate new and existing capabilities and services in the Oracle cloud environment Successful integration with other systems will require routine work in Azure, AWS, and On-Premise technologies.
The Oracle System Engineer role defines, designs, and implements technology solutions with a focus on Oracle Fusion, OIC, and OCI. Using defined and new architectures the candidate will implement technical solutions that are fit for purpose and fit for use, while meeting all Cybersecurity, administrative, compliance, and operational requirements. In this role the candidate will design and implement system enhancements, monitor performance, implement Cybersecurity service requirements, and act as a liaison between business partners, technology requestors, and Sr. technical staff. Leading the operations of cloud-based server and integration environments as well as public cloud services the candidate will help determine technology requirements and the associated lifespans including business continuity and disaster recovery planning. Customer service is paramount to success, as such the candidate must have a passion for customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot reported incidents and problems. Provide support for any problems associated with the platform infrastructure across all modalities. Guide Jr. team members in the appropriate process and resolution steps.
- In collaboration with vendors and other 3rd parties, coordinate the replacement and installation and configuration of technology solutions.
- Maintain and manage technology solutions that meet technical and administrative requirements as defined by operational documentation both on on-premise and virtual services.
- Validate and implement technology solutions as directed by management and architectural artifacts. Using established architectural building blocks and standards develop basic infrastructure capabilities ready for deployment.
- Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates excellent judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise and acts as a mentor to Jr. staff members.
- Cybersecurity practices are critical throughout the infrastructure. In this role you are accountable to the appropriate evaluation, configuration, management, and reporting of Cybersecurity related controls and services. This includes but is not limited to configuration management, patching, versioning, and administrative account management.
- Ensure systems comply with Sarbanes-Oxley, CyberSecurity, HIPAA, and client regulations and policies as directed by Sr. staff and management. Provide reports as to system compliance and mentor Jr. staff as to appropriate control management and services.
- Individual must be proficient in the design, implementation and management of cloud service capabilities specifically Oracle Fusion, OIC, and OCI.
Minimum Requirements:
- 5 years experience supporting Cloud Technologies
- 3 years experience supporting Oracle Cloud Technologies including Fusion, OIC, and OCI
- Understanding of policies, procedures and management documentation
