Sales and Service Representative

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and self-driven Sales and Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing customer accounts, meeting sales targets, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires a high degree of organization, effective communication, and a proactive approach to both sales and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary sales contact for assigned customer accounts, focusing on relationship management and growth.
- Achieve or exceed daily, monthly, and quarterly sales targets.
- Conduct presentations to promote new products, increase par levels, and suggest additional items.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, providing excellent service and support.
- Actively generate leads through sales blitzes and appointments, both independently and with the support of a Business Development Representative (BDR).
- Monitor account activity and promptly report any signs of potential account loss to management.
- Maintain up-to-date customer profiles in the company’s systems, including handheld devices and SYS PRO.
- Ensure accurate kit management and inventory updates in Accutrack to reflect customer requirements.
- Ensure billing meets or exceeds the minimum $75.00 per stop requirement.
- Plan daily service routes efficiently, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure goals are met.
- Communicate with management regarding daily quotas, particularly when targets are not met.
Field Service Responsibilities:
- Independently restock and maintain customer first aid kits, ensuring compliance with inventory lists and regulatory requirements.
- Arrive at the first customer stop by 8:00 AM and complete all service visits within scheduled hours.
- Monitor inventory levels, restocking and removing expired products as necessary.
- Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of customer kits, making upgrades when necessary.
- Ensure all required paperwork is completed accurately at the end of each service day.
- Provide customer feedback to management regarding new product needs or concerns.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels for both home and van stock.
- Pick up "will calls" outside of service hours, when applicable.
- Limit office visits during service hours unless approved by management.
- Comply with Federal and State first aid requirements and document all services performed.
- Report defective equipment and maintain company vehicles in excellent condition.
- Perform regular vehicle inspections and maintain a vehicle maintenance log.
- Respond to calls and messages within 30 minutes and emails within 24 hours.
- Submit plans to meet monthly quotas when absent due to illness or vacation.
Qualifications:
- Previous sales or route-based experience is preferred.
- Strong background in account management with the ability to meet sales quotas.
- Physical capability to manage a demanding route with a significant amount of walking and lifting.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and safety regulations is a plus.
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record.
- Must be comfortable working in various environments, including offices, construction sites, retail stores, and warehouses.
