Production Associate – Fast-Paced Manufacturing

Location: Sandusky, OH 44870
Pay: $15.00/hour; 1st shift 6:00am - 4:30pm

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and physically capable Production Associate to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. This role primarily involves hanging, dipping, and inspecting, as well as assisting with general production tasks. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a hot, dirty, and wet environment, has experience in industrial production, and can keep up with the physical demands of the job.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hanging & Preparing Parts – Secure parts onto racks for dipping, washing, or coating processes.
• Pressure Washing – Use high-pressure water guns to clean parts before finishing.
• Basic Production Support – Assist with moving materials, organizing workstations, and performing additional tasks as needed.
• Quality Checks – Inspect parts to ensure they meet cleanliness and preparation standards.
• Physical Work – Continuously lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
• Work Environment Maintenance – Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.

Qualifications & Experience:

Production experience required – Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Comfortable in hot, dirty environments – Experience in foundries, metal shops, or similar settings is a plus.
Pressure washing experience preferred – Prior use of industrial high-pressure water guns is a huge advantage.
Experience in wet environments is beneficial – Background in construction, car washes, landscaping, or similar fields is helpful.
No physical limitations – Must be able to lift and handle 50 lbs continuously throughout the shift.

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced production facility with heat, dirt, moisture, and industrial processes.
• Standing, lifting, bending, and moving throughout the shift.
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) provided as needed.
