What are the responsibilities and job description for the BD Business Development Opportunity Analyst position at GTSC?
GTSC seeks a Business Development Opportunity Analyst. Will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining government solicitation tools such as GovWin, SAM, FEDSIM, GSA eBuy and others. In tandem with Vice Presidents of Operations, the BD Opportunity Analyst will have a holistic understanding of company capability and operations to identify best fit solicitations for the organization to pursue.
Skill Qualifications / Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
- 5 years in government contracting or similar field.
- Experience with conducting open-source research or market research.
- Ability to ramp up on a range of topics quickly, including emerging technologies, cyber threat intelligence, supply chain risk, foreign policy, financial systems, market analysis, best practices analysis, and change management.
- Ability to comprehend complex requirements, ask analytical questions, and find information through open source or market research to answer those questions.
- Experience with strategy consulting or change management consulting for federal government clients.
- Experience in the government industry, including professional services and solutions and business development through the entire business development life cycle.
- Experience in engaging with C-suite level executives to drive business growth.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional, multi-disciplinary team.
- Ability to coordinate, collaborate, and lead without oversight responsibly.
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Applies judgment to the most complex planning, design, technical and / or management functions.
