Director of Nursing (DON) – Dallas, TX
Job Type: Full-Time | Leadership Role | Hybrid Patient Oversight & Administrative Duties
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day Shifts (Occasional clinical oversight as needed)
Pay: $105,000 to $115,000 per year
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead and oversee nursing operations at our Dallas location. This role is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, maintaining regulatory compliance, and guiding the professional growth of our nursing team.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee the delivery of nursing services and ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards
- Conduct or review initial and ongoing patient assessments and care plans
- Supervise, train, and support nursing staff to uphold care quality and consistency
- Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to HIPAA and OSHA requirements
- Lead staff development initiatives and in-service training
Qualifications:
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the State of Texas
- 5 years of clinical nursing experience, with 2–3 years in home health or a similar setting
- 3–5 years in a leadership or supervisory role
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Background check required
Preferred Qualifications:
- BSN from an accredited institution
- Experience with home health regulations, compliance, and licensure audits
- Knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and clinical documentation standards
