Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day operations and general administration of Remedy
- Support a customized SAAS instance of BMC Helix ITSM 21.3 for physical hardware asset inventory and lifecycle management, requisition catalog, purchase orders, and order receiving.
- Asset Management

- Reconciliation Engine

- Class Manager
- Product Catalog
- Perform frequent updates to asset records from CSV and text files
- Create reports and manually run reports
- Design solution changes, perform configuration and development, and provide system administration
- Develop operational and administration documentation in support of the system
- Served as a subject matter expert for BMC Remedy and other ITSM tools, providing guidance
- Gather and prioritize client requirements: develop and configure the platform to meet these requirements
- Administer and maintain the BMC platform for optimal performance and operational efficiency, including but not limited to planning updates, system monitoring, processing queries and reports, and monitoring system transactions for proper processing
- Troubleshoot and resolve system and transaction issues
- Manage the replication of production and non-production environments
- Work in collaboration with BMC support to resolve escalated issues
- Follow release guidelines and change process, furnish required artifacts based on the change process
- Prepares testing scripts and materials, and performs unit, system, and integrated testing tasks
Preferred Certifications
- Certified Associate and/or Certified Professional
- BMC Helix ITSM and/or BMC Helix CMDB
Experience and Requirements
- 7 years of demonstrated experience with Remedy ITSM suite administration and development
- Strong working knowledge of Remedy environments operating on BMC SAAS cloud using Postgresql and on-site Kwic gateway servers running on Windows.
- Proficient with using Pentaho Atrium integrator from BMC and PGAdmin SQL
- Experience with integrating data from other systems with BMC Remedy
- Experience processing asset record updates from csv and Excel files
- Experience with server administration and the installation and configuration of software applications
- Troubleshooting experience in working with product vendor and customers
- Excellent documentation and customer interaction skills
- Demonstrated ability to work remotely with little supervision
