About the Role:
As an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring a safe and healthy workplace. You will develop and implement EHS programs, conduct inspections, and provide training to employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement EHS programs and policies.
- Conduct safety inspections and hazard assessments.
- Investigate accidents and incidents.
- Provide training on safety topics, such as hazard communication, personal protective equipment, and emergency procedures.
- Manage industrial hygiene programs.
- Update and maintain EHS documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- 0-3 years of experience in EHS.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and other regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) certification.
- Experience in manufacturing or healthcare industry.
