Location : Gretna, LA
Schedule : 7 : 30 AM - 4 : 30 PM, Monday - Friday (Central Time)
About the Role :
As a Patient Services Representative II, you will be the face of our company, interacting with patients in a compassionate and professional manner.
Your primary responsibilities will include drawing blood samples, preparing specimens for laboratory testing, and ensuring a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform phlebotomy procedures on patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric.
- Prepare and process blood specimens for laboratory testing.
- Verify patient information and ensure accurate labeling of specimens.
- Maintain accurate and complete records.
- Adhere to strict quality control and safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service and address patient inquiries.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and other team members.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Medical assistant or paramedic training is preferred.
- Phlebotomy certification is preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
- Minimum of 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a patient service center environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
