Key Responsibilities
- Patient Interaction: Greet patients warmly, build trust, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Phlebotomy: Accurately draw blood samples from patients of all ages, following established procedures.
- Specimen Processing: Prepare blood specimens for laboratory testing, ensuring quality and accuracy.
- Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate records, documentation, and data entry.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with colleagues to provide efficient and compassionate care.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic) preferred
- Phlebotomy certification (required in California, Nevada, and Washington)
- 3 years of phlebotomy experience (including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections)
- 2 years of experience in a patient service center environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong keyboard/data entry skills
