Job Description
- Supporting the site HR Manager, the Recruiter/Talent Program Analyst will provide recruitment support to the Client's Lincoln Ave plant consisting of salaried and hourly employees across various organizational functions.
- Responsibilities will include but not be limited to Talent Acquisition and Development. This role will have visibility and interaction with the Division's Leadership Team.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for employee lifecycle processes.
- Leads recruitment activities, including requisition processing, coordinating interview scheduling, participating in interviews, providing feedback, collaborating with hiring managers on selecting candidates, and extending offers.
- Maintains regular communication with candidates during the background check and drug screen process through verbal and written correspondence.
- Manages new hire orientation and assists with benefits enrollment processes.
- Monitors employment for contingent personnel with Randstad.
- Leads outreach efforts by promoting and maintaining relationships with civic and educational institutions.
- Assists in the development of the Affirmative Action Plan and related reports/documentation.
- Coordinates various Plant Engagement, Recognition, and Wellness Programs and events.
- Assists in plant positive employee relations/community involvement initiatives.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management / Industrial / Labor Relations/ or related field
- Minimum 1 years of experience in Human Resources or Talent Acquisition.
- Excellent PC skills are required: Microsoft applications and Outlook
- Excellent communication and employee relations skills required
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
- No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates currently residing within a 50-mile radius of the posted locations will be considered
Preferred Qualifications
- PHR certification
- Experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Experience with a large ramp-up of business in a manufacturing or similar industrial environment.
- Specialized knowledge of the interpretation of laws, regulations and standards, and enforcement agencies for equal employment opportunities, safety, wage and hour, unemployment, workers' compensation, and labor law.
