Summary: The Summer School Registrar’s duties will be primarily registering students and maintaining computerized student records and files; providing student information to authorized parties in compliance with established policies; and providing general clerical support, information, and/or direction as may be assigned.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Enters enrollment and withdrawal information using the automated student information system to ensure compliance with financial, legal, state, or federal requirements.
- Maintains a variety of confidential files, documents, and student records utilizing the computerized student records system (e.g. grades, transcripts, schedules, student information, etc.) to document and/or provide reliable information relative to student records.
- Enter daily attendance
- Produce attendance reports/tracking sheets
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 1 year of administrative and clerical experience is required.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English, preferred.
- Availability to work the entire summer program is required starting March 25, 2025.
- Prior experience with summer school/youth programs is preferred.
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
- The ability to interact effectively with all aspects of the school community is required.

The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally, the job requires 80% sitting, 10% walking, and 10% standing. The job is performed in a general hazard-free environment.
Work Environment:The Summer School Registrar works in an office setting within a fast-paced school environment. The role involves frequent computer use, data entry, and interaction with students, parents, and staff. While primarily a seated position, some walking, standing, and light lifting may be required. Availability for the entire summer program, starting in March, is essential. The role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a collaborative setting.
