Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough legal research using Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis to support case preparation.
- Draft legal documents and correspondence with precision and clarity.
- Negotiate settlements and represent the county in felony cases.
- Provide administrative support, ensuring efficient case management.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to strategize case approaches.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations affecting cases.
Qualifications
- Proficient in legal research using Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
- Strong writing and legal drafting skills
- Experience in negotiation and legal administrative tasks
- Background in law office environments
- Familiarity with various areas of law, including family law and personal injury law
- Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough legal research and analysis
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 - $114,000.00 per year
