Scope of Responsibility
As a Hospice Licensed Master's Social worker, you will communicate with physicians, directors, and coworkers as appropriate regarding changes in patient’s/family’s condition as they pertain to his/her job function. Other duties may include but are not limited to responding quickly and accurately to changes in patient/family needs, performing general social work duties in patient care settings with minimal supervision and participating in performance improvement activities.
Responsible to Director of Hospice
- Education
- Master’s degree in Social Work
Training and Experience- Minimum 2 years previous experience preferred
- Previous Hospice and/or hospital experience preferred
- Texas Social Work License, LMSW minimum requirement
- Bilingual (Spanish-English) skills preferred
- Willingness to be flexible to changing in work situations or schedule when necessary
- Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and current insurance coverage
