The primary purpose of this position is to post payments received from insurance companies and prepare reports of transactions.
Scope of Responsibility
Remit Specialist other tasks include processing and following up on assigned worklists. The Remit Specialist will also bill and follow up on Workers' Compensation claims.

Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of related experience in Healthcare Financial Services preferred such as posting, collecting, and following up on Worker's Compensation claims
- Experience with insurance and data entry preferred
- Computer skills required, including e-mail
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment required
